Jason turned 40 on April 11, 2013. Yep. These pictures have been in cyberspace for a long time.....At least you can now see how much fun we had. It was going to be a surprise, but in the end, I just invited people to come and we had a great time! Happy (very late) 40th Birthday!
THESE ARE THE DAYS OF YOUR LIVES......

So, now we are in March and I haven't posted once. Nice try on the New Years Resolution!
But, having said that, there has been a lot going on.
We are moving our home based business, Day Violins, to a new location...OUTSIDE of our basement! It is a scary and exciting and stressful and very time consuming endeavor!
Also, a year ago, I was asked to help with Mormon Prom for our stake. It is a year-long project, taking all my free time and energy.
The Relief Society presidency work has also taken up a lot of time. So many meetings and being in charge of the monthly meetings.....I never went before because I was so busy, now I am making time to be there.
And, we got a dog....It's a whole entire story about how he came into our lives.
So, patience with me, please! My goal is to catch up and stay on top of it all! Just having a few hiccups along the way!

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014
I have a really difficult New Year's Resolution this year...one of the hardest I have ever made.
It won't be easy to keep, but I know that going in.
I am going to start saying "NO" to requests.
For me, it is a big thing.
I overbooked myself last year.
I let important things slide.
I wore myself out and was grouchy at myself and my family.
I stopped exercising.
Just stuff like that that cannot happen again.
I need time for myself and my family to be organized and ready to take on the world.
My kids are growing up too fast and I don't want to miss it.
I also am going to start blogging again. I need to take the time to document what is happening in our family. I cannot be too busy for that.
So, here I go on my new adventure!
Some of the posts are going to be "catch up" posts with not a lot of great writing, but I need to get back on track and caught up.
So, a very Happy New Year to everyone!
I can't wait to see more of you!

Garrett Gets the Priesthood!
Turning twelve means you are eligible to receive the priesthood! This day was special because we got to have Great Grandma Brown and Aunt Susie from California come and visit us. And, of course, Garrett Janiak and his Grandma. Congratulations, Garrett! We love you!
Four generations! Great Grandma, Grandma, Dad and Garrett!
The Garretts and MeeMaw!
