On my Honor....

Xander had his last pack meeting as a cub scout on Tuesday evening. He is now in Boy Scouts! These two boys would make Grandpa Butler bust his buttons! They love scouting so much! Garrett is a wolf and is enjoying everything about scouts! He got his pinewood derby car at the pack meeting and is excited to work on it with dad over the Christmas holiday!
Garrett and the other cubs did a special presentation with sign language.
Savannah was cute and patient during the program.
Here's Xander receiving his Arrow of Light award. It is the only award you can wear on your scout uniform that transfers from cub scouts to boy scouts.
His leaders did such a fabulous job with this ceremony for him! They had a special script written and gave him an arrow representing all the arrow points and awards he had earned.
Then it was time to walk over the bridge from cub scouts to boys scouts. I must admit, it brought tears to my eyes. He's so grown up!
Brother Nick Woods putting on the scarf and shoulder straps.
Now he is a boy scout! I can't beleive he can start on his Eagle soon!
I am so proud of Xander and Garrett! They are such great boys!

You know, when Jake met Grandpa Butler for the first time (when we were dating) Grandpa asked him 1.) About his lineage and 2.) Whether or not he was an Eagle Scout. Then Grandpa sang a scout song for him:):)... It's a good thing your boys are into scouting! You never know who you're going to need to impress!:)
I can't believe how grown up he is!So exciting! Cute pictures!
