THE FIRST SNOW!!!

Yesterday we had our first snow of the season! The excitement was almost more than we could handle! I was talking to my cousin, Anie Jenkins, on the phone and we were both laughing, because the minute it started to snow, we both immediately started taking picutres and video! We both thought the snow would be short-lived, since the weatherman told us not to expect too much snow. To our delight and surprise, it snowed and snowed and snowed all day long! You can tell how excited my children were since they ran out with their pj's on!
And danced around in their skirt from the summer!

Savannah especially wanted to be a part of the action!

Can you blame them? It was so breathtaking and beautiful and peaceful and the snowflakes were HUGE!

After pj's were off, we dug around to find all our snow gear...we came up with these two cute snow bunnies!

We found sleds in the garage....
We were amazed that it kept snowing and snowing...

There's nothing like snow melting on your tongue!

Or on your nose....

Or making snow angels.....

Or making the biggest snowball....

And having a snowball fight....

Or sharing the day with your bestest friend in the world...

And making an awesome snowman.....

Or finishing off the day with hot chocolate and donuts!

Truly, snow days make the best days to make the best memories!
